Close the Distance.
Open the World.
Travel stays with us through the moments that move us and the people who make them meaningful. I chose this film as an invitation to imagine what your next journey could awaken in you.

Travel resources
A few useful things,
before you go.
Travel requirements
Check the current travel restrictions and entry requirements for your destination at least one month before you travel.
Check travel requirementsTravel protection
Travel protection is always recommended. It may help protect your vacation investment when unexpected circumstances—such as illness, injury, trip interruption, travel delays, lost baggage or other covered events—disrupt your plans.
Coverage, limitations and exclusions vary by policy, so it is important to review the plan details carefully. Harbor Close Travel can help you explore travel-protection options and guide you through that process.
Ask us about travel protectionBefore-you-go guidance
In spite of our best efforts, a third-party supplier—such as an excursion, activity or transfer provider—may occasionally fail to complete its part of the agreement. This is uncommon, but it can happen for several reasons, including last-minute emergencies or equipment breakdowns.
If a scheduled service is missed, call the phone number shown on your voucher to ask about the service. Keep records of your calls and any text messages, and take time-stamped photos showing that you were at the correct location at the scheduled time.
Please let Harbor Close Travel know what happened. We can then advocate for a resolution with the supplier after you return home.
“A wonderful trip begins long before you pack your bag. It begins when someone truly listens.”
About Harbor Close Travel
Travel planning built on relationships.
Harbor Close Travel is an independent, personal travel agency based on Long Island. This isn’t a call center, and your trip isn’t passed from one anonymous person to another. You work with a travel advisor who learns what matters to you, helps make sense of the choices and remains connected to the journey.
Whether it’s a long-awaited cruise, a family celebration, a river journey through Europe or a quiet resort escape, the goal is the same: make the planning feel easy, considered and genuinely personal.
