 We craft and customize vacations to just about anywhere in the world and for almost every type of traveler. We specialize in honeymoons, adults-only vacations, family vacations, destination weddings, group getaways, cruises, guided tours, and adventurous independent travels. 

Most of the time, the answer is "Yes!" However, our primary intention is to provide you with the most value, along with outstanding personal service, and that does not always come with the lowest cost option. We will do our best to work within your budget and provide you with the best prices available to us. That said, our packages are always competitive and often better than what you will find elsewhere.

 We do not have a formal price match guarantee policy. However, our savvy consultants are able to match almost any price you find online and will often provide an even greater value to your vacation package. 

Yes! However, this depends on when you book your trip. Most vacation packages must be fully paid by a predefined date, usually 45 days prior to your departure. Exceptions may exist depending on the Supplier we are working with. Flights may require 100% payment at the time of booking, with the exception of when those flights are part of a package with several of our Suppliers. Travel booked within 45 days of travel may not qualify for paying over time.

Let's face it, no one wants to spend more money than is necessary. However, your vacation is very likely to be one of the most expensive investments you make during the year, and if something unexpected happens that interrupts your well thought out plans, we want you to be covered. Therefore, Harbor Close Travel always recommends travel protection and insurance for all travel. Although we are not "insurance agents", most of our Suppliers have options that they can offer to help protect your investment. If you do not see travel protection included with your quote, please ask us for information.

It depends on the type of vacation and where you want to go. We recommend that you book vacations at least 6-9 months in advance. If you are traveling during a school holiday, 11 months in advance might be necessary. Although flights cannot be booked more than 11 months prior to departure (in most cases), many cruises and all-inclusive resorts allow booking to occur more than a year in advance.

Absolutely! In fact, if you are arranging a group trip, we can create a special webpage just for your group so that signing up and making payments is easy!

When our Suppliers make special discounts available to us, we will extend them to you. At the same time, our prices are already competitive or lower than most discounts that consumers might find when booking travel independently.

Usually not. However, there may be occasions where extensive planning and research is required for your trip. When this happens, we will charge you a non-refundable upfront planning fee that will be deducted from your balance. We don't have many, but any fees are included in our "Welcome to Harbor Close Travel" packet which includes our "Terms and Conditions".

The Internet certainly provides you with the ability to book your own trip. And if you are a computer nerd and enjoy hours of research and logistics (like we do), then booking your own travel might be a great activity for you. Not only that, but you can also use our integrated suppliers, such as Apple Vacations, United Vacations, Funjet Vacations, Beaches, Sandals, and Viator to book your favorite destinations right on our website! At the same time, using an accredited travel advisor to book your vacation will save you a lot of time, along with the confusion that comes with many choices you'll have to make. Furthermore, you can stay in close contact with us via telephone and email, ask questions, and reach us during the day or night. We often have access to special airfares, consolidator fares, and bulk fares, that are not offered to consumers (not even on travel mega-sites). In addition, we know which resorts, hotels, tours, and cruises have the best reputations, and which ones to not even consider. Finally, we know travel. It's what we do day and night.
